This page explains how you can use data from TheDiscList.
What you can use for free
You can use the public TheDiscList JSON feeds, including:
- Top 10 rankings
- Limited mover summaries
- Snapshot data published on public.thedisclist.com
This data is suitable for:
- websites
- apps
- dashboards
- editorial content
Attribution requirement
If you use TheDiscList data, you must include visible attribution:
“Ranking data supplied by TheDiscList.”
Where possible, include a link to:
Attribution should be:
- visible to users
- placed near the data
- not hidden in footers or metadata only
What you cannot do
You may not:
- republish the full ranking dataset
- reconstruct full rankings from multiple snapshots
- redistribute private or paid data
- build a competing ranking product using TheDiscList data
Public vs full data
Public feeds are intentionally limited.
They do not include:
- full rankings
- historical data
- detailed movement analysis
- score calculations or methodology
Full data is part of TheDiscList paid offering.
No warranty
Data is provided as-is.
We do not guarantee:
- accuracy
- completeness
- availability
Use of the data is at your own risk.
Changes
We may:
- update the data structure
- change available fields
- limit or remove access
